Although Branislav Simoncik started with documentary photography (he is the laureate of the Fuji Press Photo Prize for the photo series of Cuban boxers in Guantánamo), very soon he gave way to fashion and portrait photography. His work was published on the cover pages and in editorials of numerous prestigious magazines worldwide including VOGUE, GQ, Vanity Fair, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Blue Paper magazine, encens magazine etc.
Many famous actors (Sharon Stone, Luke Evans, Jeremy Renner, Emma Mackey, Sadie Sink etc.) were shot by Branislav and there have been top models modelled in front of his camera including Irina Shayk, Jamie Bochert, Karen Elson, Carmen Kass, Crystal Renn, Taylor Hill, Winnie Harlow, Alessandra Ambrosio, Bruna Marquezine, Barbara Palvin, Karolina Kurková, Andreja Pejic, Izabel Goulart, Eva Herzigova, Kinga Rajzak, Bianca Brandolini and many others. He was part of the unique project A Step for Equality (Um Passo Pela Igualdade) during which he took photographs of dozens influential Portuguese men from various fields – culture, science, sport and business. The photo exhibition in Berardo Collection Museum in Lisbon and the photo book experienced a great success.
